VBmatch and ARPD will co-host an indoor volleyball tournament on 11/26/2016 at Alameda Point Gym.

FORMAT: Dual-Coed 4s
- Roughly Half of Games will be Coed (played on a Men's Net)
- Other Half of Games will be Reverse-Coed (played on a Women's Net with men hitting back-row)
- Each Team may field up to 2 men
- Examples: 2 men / 2 women -or- 1 man / 3 women -or- 4 women / no men

Each team will be scheduled for 4 to 6 pool-play (round-robin) games. This is followed by playoffs where all teams advance to the elimination bracket(s). Playoff matches will be "Best-of-Two" (one coed game and one rev-coed game). If the match is "split," we will use point differentials to determine the winner. If there is still a tie and a 3rd game is required, the LOWER-seeded team gets to choose the format. (Yes - you read that correctly. The LOWER-seeded team gets to choose the format because as the higher ranked team, you must prove that you can win in either format.)

REGISTRATION FEE :
- Super-Early Online Registration (by Sat 11/19) : $100-per-team
- Early Online Registration (by Tues 11/22) : $110-per-team
- Regular Online Registration (by 5pm on Fri 11/25) : $120-per-team
- On-Site Registration on Sat 11/26 (space permitting) : $130-per-team

NOTE: For this tournament, same-gender substitutions are allowed. However, teams must pay an extra $5 for each additional player on their roster beyond the first 4. Our insurance premium is based on the total number of participants.

To register for the Saturday 11/26 Alameda INDOOR Tournament, submit your Team Roster via this Online Form and then pay a DEPOSIT via the paypal button below (scroll down to bottom of page) -OR- by mailing a check. The Actual Entry Fee is due on-site on Saturday 11/26. (Your deposit will be refunded once your actual entry fee is received).

NOTE: Space is limited, so we will send you an email after we receive your payment to let you know if we can accept your entry. You are NOT officially registered until you receive a confirmation email from us.

TOURNAMENT CANCELLATION POLICY: Please note that we reserve the right to cancel the tournament at our sole discretion. In the event of cancellation, all players currently registered at that time will receive a full refund of the fees paid. The tournament may be canceled for various reasons including, but not limited to: inclement weather; unavailability of the facilities/site for the tournament; inadequate number of entries; schedule conflicts of the tournament organizer; etc. In the unlikely event of a tournament cancellation, notification will be sent via email.

IMPORTANT NOTE: IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE, YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO SIGN AN ASSUMPTION OF RISKS / WAIVER OF CLAIMS / RELEASE OF LIABILITY / INDEMNITY / BINDING ARBITRATION / WAIVER OF STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS AGREEMENT ON THE DAY OF THE TOURNAMENT (BEFORE YOU START PLAYING). Please contact us if you have any questions or would like to see this Agreement before the day of the tournament. A Junior Player must be 14-17 years-old and must have a signed parental consent / waiver form.

NOTE: If you cancel after a spot has been reserved for you, you will only receive a full refund if you cancel at least 5-days ahead of the tournament you registered for. If you cancel less than 5-days ahead of the tournament, you will receive a refund less a $20 administration fee IF AND ONLY IF the tournament is full (i.e. sold out) AND we are able to find a team to replace your team.
