VBmatch and ARPD will co-host an indoor volleyball tournament on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Alameda Point Gym.

FORMAT: Unisex Reverse-Coed 4s
- Games are played on a Women's Net
- Teams may have any combination of men & women (including all women or all men)
- Women hit and block as usual (women are "front row" at all times even when they are the server)
- Men must hit from back-row and may NEVER block

Each team will be scheduled for 4 to 6 pool-play (round-robin) games. This is followed by playoffs where all teams advance to the elimination bracket(s).

RANDOM DRAW POOL: Individuals or Players without a full team may also register as an Individual or with 1 partner as a PAIR for the "random draw" pool. These players will play with and against each other in a separate pool wherein your teammates change for each game of pool-play. After pool-play, players will be ranked according to their pool record and there will be a team selection process starting with the highest ranked player. The top half of the teams from the Random Draw Pool will advance to the Top of the Overall Playoff Bracket (which will include the regular teams). The remaining teams from the Random Draw Pool will advance to the Bottom of the Overall Playoff Bracket.

* IF we do not have perfect multiple of four in the Random Draw pool, then the players ranked at the bottom after pool play will NOT be eligible for playoffs. For example, if 18 individual players sign up for the Random-Draw pool, then the top 16 will be eligible for Playoffs; the players ranked #17 and #18 based on pool-play results will NOT be eligible for playoffs.

REGISTRATION FEE :
- Super-Early Online Registration (by Wed 11/18) : $92-per-team (or $23-per-individual)
- Early Online Registration (by Mon 11/23) : $100-per-team (or $25.00-per-individual)
- Regular Online Registration (by 5pm on Fri 11/27) : $110-per-team (or $27.50-per-individual)
- On-Site Registration on Sat 11/28 (space permitting) : $120-per-team

NOTE: For Unisex Reverse-Coed 4s, substitutions are allowed (regardless of gender). However, teams must pay an extra $5 for each additional player on their roster beyond the first 4. Our insurance premium is based on the total number of participants.

To register for the Saturday 11/28 Alameda INDOOR Tournament, submit your Team Roster via this Online Form and then pay a DEPOSIT via the paypal button below (scroll down to bottom of page) -OR- by mailing a check. The Actual Entry Fee is due on-site on Saturday 11/28. (Your deposit will be refunded once your actual entry fee is received).

NOTE: Space is limited, so we will send you an email after we receive your payment to let you know if we can accept your entry. You are NOT officially registered until you receive a confirmation email from us.

TOURNAMENT CANCELLATION POLICY: Please note that we reserve the right to cancel the tournament at our sole discretion. In the event of cancellation, all players currently registered at that time will receive a full refund of the fees paid. The tournament may be canceled for various reasons including, but not limited to: inclement weather; unavailability of the facilities/site for the tournament; inadequate number of entries; schedule conflicts of the tournament organizer; etc. In the unlikely event of a tournament cancellation, notification will be sent via email.

IMPORTANT NOTE: IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE, YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO SIGN AN ASSUMPTION OF RISKS / WAIVER OF CLAIMS / RELEASE OF LIABILITY / INDEMNITY / BINDING ARBITRATION / WAIVER OF STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS AGREEMENT ON THE DAY OF THE TOURNAMENT (BEFORE YOU START PLAYING). A Junior Player must be 14-17 years-old and must have a signed parental consent / waiver form.

NOTE: If you cancel after a spot has been reserved for you, you will only receive a full refund if you cancel at least 5-days ahead of the tournament you registered for. If you cancel less than 5-days ahead of the tournament, you will receive a refund less a $20 administration fee IF AND ONLY IF the tournament is full (i.e. sold out) AND we are able to find a team to replace your team.
