SF Mission High Fundraising Grass Volleyball Tournament Sunday 9/12 : R-Coed 2s, Men's 2s & Dual-Coed 4s Location: 3750 18th Street SF, CA 94114 IMPORTANT NOTE: The school is located in the Mission District by Dolores Park. While street parking is free on Sundays (with no time restriction), finding an open space can be challenging. There are pay-parking-lots a few blocks away (e.g. near 16th and Valencia). The school is also accessible by public transportation. Please plan your mode of transportation with this in mind. * * * Please contact us if you need help finding a team or teammate. * * * Online PRE-Registration Recommended On-Site Registration ACCEPTED from 9:00-9:30am 9:30-10:00am Check-In (for pre-registered players) San Francisco's Mission High Women's Volleyball Team is hosting a fundraising grass volleyball tournament on September 12th (Sunday). The tournament will be held on Mission High Campus' large soccer field. The following formats will be offered : Reverse-Coed 2s, Men's 2s and Dual-Coed 4s (where half the games are Coed and half are Reverse-Coed). What is Dual-Coed? For the Dual-Coed format, teams are comprised of 2 men and 2 women. Half the games are Coed (on a men's net) and half are Reverse-Coed. Reverse-coed games are played on a women's net. Women play as usual - hitting and blocking at the net. Men, however, must hit from behind the 10-foot-line and may never block. Each team will be scheduled for a minimum of 4 pool-play (round-robin) games. All teams will advance to playoffs. See Map • Reverse-Coed 2s • Men's 2s • Dual-Coed 4s Grass $23-per-person if pre-registered by 9/8; $26-per-person if pre-registered by 9/11 (5pm); $30-per-person for on-site registration on 9/12. If you cancel by 9/8, you will receive a full refund of the fees you paid. If you cancel by 9/11 (10:00 am), you will only receive a refund of half of the fees you paid (e.g. $46/2). If you cancel after 9/11 (10am), default by checking in more than 15-minutes late, or simply fail to show up, you will forfeit all the fees you paid. TO PARTICIPATE, YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO SIGN A WAIVER FORM ON THE DAY OF THE TOURNAMENT (BEFORE YOU START PLAYING). Please contact us if you have any questions or would like to see this Agreement before the day of the tournament. Minors must have a signed parental consent / waiver form to participate. We reserve the right to cancel the tournament at our sole discretion. In the event of cancellation, all players currently registered at that time will receive a full refund of the fees they paid. The tournament may be canceled for various reasons including, but not limited to: inclement weather; unavailability of the facilities/site for the tournament; inadequate number of entries; schedule conflicts of the tournament organizer; etc. In the unlikely event of a tournament cancellation, you will be notified.
