VBmatch Indoor Tournament Optional-Power-Coed 6s Saturday November 21, 2009 Check-In: 11:40am Red Morton Gym in Redwood City 1120 Roosevelt Ave. Redwood City, CA 94061 INDIVIDUALS: Sign up for the Free Agent Wait List VBmatch will co-host an indoor Optional Power-Coed 6s volleyball tournament on November 21, 2009 (Saturday). We are aiming for two divisions (A and B) provided that there are at least 4 teams that opt to play in each division. In the Power-Coed format, games are played on a men's height net. Here, "Optional Power-Coed 6s " means that teams may comprise of 4 men & 2 women, 3 men & 3 women -or- 2 men & 4 women. A SPECIAL Back-Row Block Assist Rule applies in this tournament: one back-row male player MAY assist in blocking whenever there are less than 3 men in the front row. The back-row blocker may only block; he may not hit. Each team will be scheduled to play a minimum of 4 pool-play games. All teams advance to playoffs. Target Gift Cards will be awarded to the winning team (minimum $60 total in gift cards is guaranteed for the winning team). Sign up by Wednesday November 18th to get the early pre-registration rate of $23-per-player or $138-per-team. Thereafter, the regular pre-registration rate is $26-per-player or $156-per-team. NOTE: Teams must pay an extra $5 for each additional player on their roster beyond the first 6. Our insurance premium is based on the total number of participants. To register for this tournament, submit your Team Roster via this Online Form and then pay the entry fee via the online payment button below. You are NOT officially registered until you receive a confirmation email from us. TOURNAMENT CANCELLATION POLICY: Please note that we reserve the right to cancel the tournament at our sole discretion. In the event of cancellation, all players currently registered at that time will receive a full refund of the fees paid. The tournament may be canceled for various reasons including, but not limited to: inclement weather; unavailability of the facilities/site for the tournament; inadequate number of entries; schedule conflicts of the tournament organizer; etc. In the unlikely event of a tournament cancellation, notification will be sent via email. IMPORTANT NOTE: IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE, YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO SIGN AN ASSUMPTION OF RISKS / WAIVER OF CLAIMS / RELEASE OF LIABILITY / INDEMNITY / BINDING ARBITRATION / WAIVER OF STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS AGREEMENT ON THE DAY OF THE TOURNAMENT (BEFORE YOU START PLAYING).
